We have a serious problem among us. I know this site is intended for all of us rednecks to have fun, and i dont mean to be all political, but we have an issue at hand. Congress is trying to shut down 9.4 million acres of public riding land. By riding, i mean ANY type of motorized vehice. Do you have any idea how big 9.4 million acres is ?!!...The sad thing is, there are more areas all over the country that they are looking at. Now im not going to get into political arguments, and it really doesnt matter if you are democrat, repulican, or neutral. What matters is that if we are going to continue to enjoy our sport or hobby, we need to take 5 minutes and do something about it...This site has over 31,000 memebers. If half of the people on here would take 5 minutes, and then encourage their friends and family as well, imagine the impact we can make !......The AMA, (american motorcyclist association) has a link you can go to take action.. BUT DONT STOP THERE !...write your local and state congressman, take some kind of action.....Just keep in mind that if you write to them, make sure it is proffesional, or your letter will find the trash can quick !...Dont make it sound like you just walked out of a Jeff Foxworthy concert.....Here is the AMA link.. http://www.americanmotorcyclist.com/legisltn/rapidresponse.asp ...thanks everyone ! There are a number of groups fighting land closures/siezures fighting now.Check out Blue ribbon coalition.We need to join together to stop this.They have already shut down enough.Let em take over wasted land like golf courses and Wal-Mart parking lots.No matter what you ride or drive we need to stand UNITED against this.And start picking your trash up on the trails! The Government and treehuggers use stuff like littering as a weapon to show that us off-roaders are irresponsible and are destroying the environment..We better Unite soon before theres nowhere left to ride....
