I have a 1994 F150 with a 5.0L 4x4 and its giving me the "insufficient EGR flow" code. i replaced the EGR valve which didn't help. does anybody know what to do about it? thanks

Usually thats due to carbon deposits in the vacuum lines. Pull the lines and see how nasty they are inside.

insuf flow is due to the port being plugged with carbon, remove egr valve and chip thru the carbon till you can run a coat hangar wire all the way thru port to opening behind throttle body, if you open throttle body just behind the plate you will most likely see the carbon build up hangin in a lump, if ran with plugged ports to long it can effect the dpfe sensor, diferentai lpressure feed back egr its aluminum block with 2 vacuum lines connected to it, egr purpose is to cool combustion chamber with exaust gas to lower emissions levels.

thats an old wives tale lol egr does not rob power, it only opens in decel or coast not under throttle so how can it rob power hmmmmm the 4.6 in crown vics needs to be removed to clear passages i believe the truck intake doesnt depending on year model,
