So iv bin bow hunting with my cousins for a few years, but they all live up in missouri. My baby brother has bin messing around with my bow for a few months, but it has gotten to the point i cant find it when i need it or he has it at a friends house when me and other friends are going hunting. So for christmas im getting him a bow. What would be your advice for a good starter bow for my baby brother

some people call it cheating but i dont care. i use a horton EXP crossbow. mine is a 150 lb draw weight compound bow. i have a 4 to 12 power scope with 40 mm recitals. it might be a bit overkill but i dont have to use binoculars like other people do. if i am looking through the scope to see the deer then i am already pulled up to take the shot if it presents itself. i use muzzy 3 blade fixed 100 grain bone crusher tips and horton aluminum arrows. i have put down 2 deer and 50 yards in decent winds and the arrows went in one side and out the other. i love it

well my brother is just startin i aint investing money in no scope on a bow till i know this is a long term thing
