I fish for just about any freshwater fish. I like to Bass fish and love to go up on Lake Erie for smallmouth and walleyes when I can, i haven't had a chance to do that for a couple of years, but thats going to change this year.

I grew up fishing the swamp lands in an old hunting club that they closed down. The club I am in now doesn't have as much swamp land in it but it does have a little. Those are my fishing holes now. Caught three 5 lb bass out of their already this year. Waiting to catch at least an 8 or 9 lb one before I mount him. There are good catfish, bluegill, and crappie out there too. I like to sit on the sandbar at the river and catfish. I usually bottom fish for them with shrimp, crawfish, or catalpa/catawba worms (www.catawbaworms.com). I went offshore fishing once. We left out of Panama City. Caught king mackerel, red snapper, grouper, and trigger fish.

In Illinois we just have Stupid Catfish!

West Coast Fisherman here..I'm a big Bass fisherman and when the Stripers come thru, I'm out there trolling a jumbo minnow for some good eatin. I've done small tourneys here and there basically from Tackle shops to private tourneys. Just like Spainy79, I'm still waitin on my wall hanger, my biggest bass is oz under 9 lbs..catch and release UNTIL that wall hanger can be put up in my man cave, lol. We have the Delta out in these parts as well, dirty water is askin for dark lures, worms, and chaurtrues 3 prop buzzbaits.  Clear water, I go rootbeer w/ spec, white, pink, and so on.  Bass fishin is the best in my book..nothin like standin in a boat in a slough deep in the delta..........

I fish for strugeons and stripers here in Sacramento, Ca and other fishes as well.

Went fishing off Haulover Inlet caught about 5 sailfish, 18 kingfish (some good ones), and couple cow dolphins weighing in about 30lbs each. Also sharks are lurking, got 4 nice 7ft blacktips. Small mutton snappers as well.
