'98 Mercury Mountaineer, its V8, AWD (will drive through anything I have put in front of it so far). Runs and Drives Excellent, This is my second year owning it and I am only looking to sell so I can buy something with more seating because I'm expecting another child. Even for being a V8 and AWD, its not bad on gas, i usually run about $50 a week including errands, to and from work, and running out of town to say dayton or cincinatti once or twice a month. I also recently drove it to and from Indianapolis recently and it did fantastic. It is by far the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned.
As far as maintenance goes, in the last year I have replaced: All four Balljoints in the front, one hub assy, Brakes all around, plugs, wires, Trans filter and partial fluid change, regular oil changes, and About 2 months ago my Timing Cover gasket popped a leak and so i replaced it, and replaced the timing chain and gears while i was in there. This Mountaineer is and has been my baby and my Woman often jokes that i love my truck more then her lol, so yes its in good running condition.
It currently has in the dash a DVD Headunit and If i get what i am asking or close then i may leave it installed, otherwise it will come with the factory CD/Tape Deck. In the back however there is installed in the factory Subwoofer enclosure a 8" Audiobaun Subwoofer powered by the factory Amplifier, it puts out good even Bass, but no you won't be rattling the neighbor's windows to badly with it (sorry lol)
Also, it will be "un-rednecked" before its sold lol.. I'll be taking the CB Antenna and the Big lights off the front and returning it to stock.
